Erin Johnson
“I grew up playing hockey since I was 3 years old, and was crushed when I found out MU didn’t have a women’s hockey team. Together with the Exec board, we built this club from the ground up to give women at this university the opportunity to continue playing the sport they love at a competitive level!”

Lucy Hart
“I helped create this club to continue my passion for hockey and provide the opportunity for others to do the same. I want to create a fun and competitive team for everyone to enjoy and feel a part of. To me, this team is an outlet, providing support and community! I am so excited for the year and cannot wait to start up :)”

Maddy Charlton
“Being a part of the founding of Marquette’s women’s hockey team was really important to me because of the possibility for community I knew it would create. I grew up playing hockey, and I am super eager to get back on the ice this semester!”

Mary English
“I helped create the club because hockey has been a part of my life for years and having the chance to play again meant a lot to me due to having played since I was younger. I also wanted to give other girls a chance to play again and meet people and make friends through the team.”

Sidney Leonard
“I helped create this club because hockey has always given me a sense of community. I want to be able to provide that for other women who have played or are interested in the sport. I look forward to being able to spread my love and passion for hockey while also providing a welcoming and fun environment to both experienced and new players!”
